The representative of His Eminence the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), and the director of his central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy welcomed a delegation from the Gulf states.

The delegation came to perform the rituals of visiting the shrines of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to obtain guidance and advice from the religious authority.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy talked about the religious significance of Najaf Al-Ashraf as mentioned in the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and its great virtues, stating that a believer returning from a visit to the Master of the Believers (peace be upon him) will receive great rewards.

He emphasized that each Imam from the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) has a distinct feature and status, and the visit to Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) gathers the prophets and angels to honor and seek permission from the Almighty to descend to honor this great visit.

He affirmed that the difference in the reward of the visitors depends on their understanding of the status and virtues of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his noble character, and that it is the duty of every believer to be acquainted with this blessed biography, learn from it, and derive lessons and morals.
