Sheik Ali Al-Najafy (may Allah support him), director of His Eminence’s office, welcomed the Japanese ambassador to Iraq Mr. Phomio Iway and the accompanied delegation which includes a group of professors at Tokyo University.
The two parties discussed the situation in Iraq and the relations among the two countries.
“Despite all the challenges that Iraq has been through, its people still have the strongest ties among the components of the people. Such ties were the main catalyst to stop cultivating civil war which was made by foreign regimes.” Sheik Ali Al-Najafy stated.
Sheik Ali Al—Najafy added that we hope that Iraqi people would have benefit from the Japanese people’s experience after the second world war in terms of scientific and prosperity advancement, indicating that Iraqi people have deep thinking and hold special scientific degrees that they are able to advance Iraq at all levels.
