Praise to Allah who revealed the holy Quran on His slave to be a guide for all mankind. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger the best among creatures Muhammad and infallible Imams from his family. Permanent curse be upon their enemies.

Allah says: “he who was sent to the illiterate one a messenger to recite to them the verses of Allah, to purify them, and to teach them the holy Quran and what is right and what is wrong. They were in an evident misguidance.” Allah, the highest, is the whole truthful.

The honorable attendants, brave Husseini speakers, preachers, heads of religious preaching and guidance, Allah has honored you with this grace unlike those who are not. Therefore, congratulations for this honor and divine gift. You are the spokesmen of the Religious Hawza: mother of all Hawzas worldwide after you have been raised in its classes. We pray Allah to grant you with good, dignity accepting all your deeds. Allah of the all listener.

Honorable attendants, the blessed month of Ramadan is about to start. We will welcome it with our fortitude to the religion of right. Allah granted us to fast, pray and recite the holy Quran in this blessed month, it is like a field of worship competition to have Allah’s consent and to get closer to Him. We can put ourselves in a piety framework in order for us to deserve seeking acceptance from Allah (the almighty(.

In this regard, we have all should pay attention to what is required from us: serving the religion of Islam and calling people to it. This could be accomplished by the following:

First: we should urge people to participate in the gatherings that will be held in this blessed month through communicating with notable figures in the society to use them to urge people to those gatherings. We should know that the orator’s style, good choice of diction and utterances, good looking and respecting others is the best way to bring people’s attention and to make the audience love the gatherings. As Allah says: “call for the cause of Allah with the good wisdom and sermon.”

Second: I hope that the respected preachers visit the people of influence in the places where Allah graced them with to serve the religion in order to trigger people to attend the gatherings. It is known that cooperating and collaborating with the notable figures and people of influence could pave the way for guidance. This is proved by experiments done by prophets and messengers as well as the infallible Imams (PBUH).

Third: we should urge and advise people to offer to fast and keeping away from dissenting the orthodox Islam using all means possible such as tours in the society to know where and how to draw people’s attention so that we can guide them and prevent them from breaking their fast in public. We should also inform the authorities to prevent some restaurants and cafes which help break one’s fasting.

Fourth: we should pay much attention to a serious problem which is that there are hidden ones who are trying to spread atheism and religious corruption among junior young people, especially severely criticizing the religious rituals to drag them towards the moral dysfunction. These people criticize the obligations of weeping hitting the chest for Imam Hussein (PBUH) and wearing black, they regard such acts as uncivilized practices. They refuse the ritual of marching to Karbala and all these rituals, saying that isn’t better for us to sit in the shrine of Imam Hussein and spend our time in invocation instead of walking and getting tired… etc. Thus, the preachers should reflect the approach of the Hawza in terms of enjoining good and preventing evil, things that have been focused on in all religions.

Fifth: at the time in which we salute all the victories achieved to heroes of Iraq representing by security forces and popular mobilization, we should all draw people’s attention to the problems that we have at the present time and to the most important religious duties like serving the soldiers who are defending the Iraqi land and to visit and support their families. So, the preachers are to hard work to drive people to do the great religious duty including visiting the wounded brave soldiers to their home, a work which is holy and great.  We should be blessed with kissing the foreheads of these wounded as a way of respect and making their families feel dignity and highness to Allah the almighty. Imams (PNUH) used to visit the grandsons of the prophet’s, Imam Ali’s and Hussein’s (PBUH) supporters. We should know that there is no excuse to see a martyr’s orphan and does not offer any help.

Last, we are sure that homeland is dear to us, however, Iraq of Islam is still drawn in the sea of darkness under lots of hands which do not deserve what they have. There is still employment, extremely high prices, administrative corruption, stealing the fortunes… we do not know when conscious of such people awake to care for patriotic religious duty to deserve Allah’s kindness and the tyrannized people love.

We are preparing for having the elections, and we pray Allah that people will be able to choose the one who is loyal to Iraq and that the elections will have credibility, without the manipulation of the results by the corrupt ones as happened before. The oppressors should know that Allah promised to the victory of the oppressed ones is an act of right. Then, the oppressors will lose.

We seek Allah’s kindness to grant us all the best to serve the religion, doctrine and the homeland, and to bring Ramadan once again to have blessings worshiping it.  Wassalam.
