*The campus is a place to promote scientific advancement and virtue not the mixture of indecency.

Under the slogan: (The Hawza and the university are two major poles in the scientific and cultural advancement of the intellectual), the representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and the Director of his office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi (may Allah support him) supported the work of the conference held by the Association of Specialized Studies Center between Al Hawza and the University, in Al-Najaf Chamber of Commerce Chamber.

Aali-Najafi stressed the existence of intellectual movements aimed at atheism in the university. Unfortunately, there are university professors who indoctrinate these ideas into the university campus, expressing in this regard the readiness of the Hawza to provide the guidance and answer suspicions raised against these misconceptions.

Sheikh Al-Najafi continued: "There are falsified intellectual movements and atheistic tendencies embodied in evil souls and evil tongues that broadcast unsound ideas in universities. It is regrettable that there are professors in them also and officially seeking to promote atheism. We hope that the cadres of universities and their pioneers will resort to the Hawza to know the right thought. And they should be guided by the Hawza to help them to answer suspicions and provide them with safety in their behavior.”

He also expressed the importance of working university cadres without spreading moral corruption in universities, and seeking to push boys and girls to adhere to religion and away from what the devil calls for mixing between the two categories unjustified and unmotivated, and that the campus is a place to spread scientific development and virtue not mixing.  And professors should work hard to spread the spirit of development competition for their children.

Al-Najafi delivered the message of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in the conference, praying Allah to safeguard both the Hawza and the university to do all the best to Iraq.

The following is the text of the following speech at the conference:

Speech of the Office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Grand Sheikh Sheikh Bashir Hussein Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) for the seventh scientific conference of the Center for Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University.

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah, who blessed us with the custodian of the religion, the greatest prophet, and honored us with his glorified law, and we are proud of the loyalty Ahlulbait (PBUH) and paved the way for us to live in our dear Iraq. May Allah pray on Muhammad and his progeny, and may Allah curse the enemies of Muhammad and his progeny till the day of Judement.

Allah says “Oh, my lord, increase my knowledge” Allah the most truthful.

It is known that life in this world as well as in the Hereafter does not continue and does not continue without the availability of its requirements. However, He has not commanded us to increase and ask for the supplication in them, such as what He commanded us to seek knowledge. He addressed the greatest messenger because the messenger is the master of all creatures and ordered him to ask for more owing to human lacking of science.

It is known that Allah blessed us with the Hawza in the Holy Najaf and the universities all over the Arab countries. It is also known that the two pillars form the basic element of the dignity of the believers, although the university efforts are limited to serving Iraq, but the products of the Hawza paves the way of honor and the dignity of all humanity throughout the world by its preachers, speakers, authors, wise men and theoreticians.

The Hawza with the University are the backbone of the life of Iraq and abroad, the Hawza also deals with Iraqi universities, as well as seeking to cooperate with healthy universities on the imbalance in the periphery of the globe.

The universities provide the service to the people under the auspices of the Hawza in Holy Najaf (mother of all Hawzas in the world and the starting point of all Hawzas, because they derive from the principles of the true religion, and live under the patronage of the guardians of the faithful (peace be upon him and his children infallible).

In this respectful meeting, we should pay attention to the aspects of joint cooperation between the Hawza and the university. The Hawza does not have full access to the wise, intellectuals to use them to spread the proper awareness in society. The pioneers of the Hawza are not exempted from the efforts of university graduates, as well as the universities, who are guided, enlightened and guided throughout all stages of life. In the honorable possession to know all the things that should be done and what should be done and what is not permissible in the light of the Sharia.

In this regard, we draw the attention of our brothers, university leaders, our children and their leaders, that there are falsified intellectual movements and atheistic tendencies embodied in evil souls and evil tongues that transmit unhealthy ideas in universities. Unfortunately, there are professors who call for such things also and officially seeking to spread atheism. We hope that university cadres and their leaders resort to the Hawza. Scientific knowledge to know the proper thinking of others, and they must be guided by the Hawza to help them to answer suspicions and provide them with safety in their behavior.

The university staff should also prevent the spread of moral corruption in universities, and they should seek to push the boys and girls to adhere to religion and to stay away from what the devil calls for mixing between the two genders unjustified and unmotivated, and that the outfit of girls is decent to be dignified in the university as she is in her home.

I pray Allah to grant us the safety of both pillars of life and the Hawza and university. Allah is most merciful and friendly.
