The representative of His Eminence, Sheikh Ali Najafy participated in the ceremony to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the death of Ayatollah Muhammad Mahdi Al-Asafi (may Allah be pleased with him), which was held by Ayatollah Mujtaba al-Husseini, Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei (may Allah prolong his life) in Najaf al-Ashraf.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy conveyed the condolences of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life), stressing at the same time the great scientific role of the deceased and what he gave to the Religious Hawza in Najaf.

Al-Najafy mentioned the great humanitarian aspect enjoyed by the deceased, especially his contribution to the sons of Iraq during the lean years that have afflicted the Iraqi people.
