The representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life), and the director of his office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy welcomed the representative of the World Health Organization and head of its mission in Iraq, Dr. Adham Ismail Abdel Moneim, and Dr. Radwan Al-Kindi, director of the Department of Health of Najaf and his accompanying delegation.

Al-Najafy pointed to the importance of the World Health Organization support for Iraq and all countries that suffer from poor performance in its health system, expressing in this regard the religious authority’s support for all health and preventive measures taken by the competent bodies in the World Health Organization and the Iraqi Ministry of Health, especially what the world suffers from after the crisis Corona virus epidemic outbreaks.

The delegation also discussed with the representative of His Eminence the mechanisms and methods of prevention and ways to stop at each case, Allah forbid, and ways of competent preventive measures for it.

For his part, the representative of the World Health Organization expressed his admiration for the extent of awareness and great wisdom that the religious authority carries in the holy Najaf, stressing the need for the medical side of the religious authority to raise the levels of health awareness and preventive action.
