Question:Is there a supplication for resolving problems attributed to the Ahlulbait (AS) and the story of Abdullah al-Hattab?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if someone wishes to benefit from this supplication, they should recite it with the intention of supplication only, as it is difficult to establish its chain of narrations and attribute it to an infallible (PBUH). Allah is the Guide, and He is the All-Knowing.
Question:Regarding the prayers and acts mentioned in prayer books such as "Mafatih al-Jinan," "Miftah al-Falah," "Misbah al-Mutahajjid," "Misbah al-Kaf'ami," and others, is it permissible to perform those acts with the intention of seeking the desired outcome?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is permissible with the intention of seeking absolute hope and closeness to Allah. Allah knows best.
Question:Does the soul return to the deceased when they experience pleasure or suffering in the grave?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be informed, my son, that when the soul departs from the physical body, Allah places it in the barzakh body which is similar to the physical body in shape and form, but with a significant difference in reality. The accountability in the grave is based on that barzakh body, and on the Day of Judgment, the soul will be returned to the physical body. Allah knows best.
Question:On the Day of Judgment, who will intercede for us? Imam Ali (PBUH) or the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if you believe in what is necessary to believe in and have faith in Muhammad (PBUH&F) and his pure household (PBUT) and become pious, then you are eligible for intercession from those you have mentioned. Intercession is conditioned by true faith as we have indicated. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the origin and source of (call Ali) "Nadi Aliyan" and Hadith Al-Kisa?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the scholars consider the authenticity of these sayings to be attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF). As for calling upon Ali ibn Abi Talib for support, as it is known in " Nadi Aliyan mudhir alaja'ib" (a supplication that begins with "Call Ali, the manifestation of wonders..."), with the intention of seeking intercession from him, there is no objection to it according to Islamic law, but it is the essence of Shia belief. As for the origin of Hadith Al-Kisa, it is proved and there should be no doubt about it. There are numerous narrations on this matter, both from general and specific sources. As for reciting the hadith in the usual manner, there is no issue with reciting it with the intention of seeking blessings. There is a chain of narration from Jabir in the commonly accepted format in some reputable books, such as the book "Awalim al-'Ulum wa al-Ma'arif wa al-Ahwal" by the scholar Sheikh Abdullah al-Bahrani al-Asfahani. Allah is the Guide, and He is the All-Knowing.
Question:Some people suffer from impotence on their wedding night and they cannot copulate with the wife. So, they write the verse Al-Ma'oon" on an egg or paper, then burn the egg or paper. Is this act permissible or not?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if burning the Quran written on an egg or any other material is considered disrespectful, then it is not permissible. Allah knows best.
Question:I suffer from insomnia and cannot sleep. Can you tell me anything I can do to get rid of this insomnia?
Answer:In the name of Allah, recite one hundred verses from any part of the Quran and then recite this supplication "Allahuma inni as'aluka bismika alazeem alazam alajal alakram" and repeat the phrase "ya Allah" seven times. Then, ask the help of Allah for what you are in and ask for forgiveness. Allah is the Guide.
Question:In the Mehj al-Da’wat, the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) taught Imam Hassan (PBUH) a supplication, saying, “Write it down and hold it in your right hand and go wherever you want, perhaps he said, so remember this “O Allah, I ask you, O Allah, One, o You the light Who has no descendants, the One Who prevails on the earth and heavens, I beseech You to soften the heart of so-and-so to me as the serpent obeyed Moses (PBUH) to the end of the narration which says, so he lets him obey me to fulfill this need of mine. This is what I want from you as you can do everything… to the end of the narration. 1.Is his narration authentic? 2.Is it taken for granted that if I write this on paper and go to that one person, will this one fulfill my need?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, we have been warned that the biography of our righteous scholars is based on accepting the supplications contained in our reputable books. The supplication that you have mentioned is found in some of our reputable books. As for the method of fulfilling one’s need, it is entrusted to Allah (glory be to Him) Who rules as He likes and in the manner He likes. Allah is the all Guide.
Question:We are looking for the authentic hadith regarding the hadith of Ahlulkissa (people of the garment) because there is a discussion with a friend about the wording of this hadith. I hope that you will send a series of narrations for this hadith to prove the truth.
Answer:In the name of Allah, this hadith of Ahlulkissa is authentic, and there is no doubt about it. There are many narrations in this regard by the public and the knowledgeable ones. Additionally, there is a chain of transmission on the authority of Jaber as known in some well-regarded books, such as the book “Awalim Aluloom wal Maarif” [The Worlds of Science, Knowledge, and Conditions] by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Bahrani Al-Esfahani. As for the paragraphs that were mentioned, it is not intended what illusions may lead to; rather, it is apparent – Allah knows best - that the Prophet (PBUH&HF) and his pure family (PBUT) are the leaders of creation and the rulers of the world. It is upon the people and the jinn to draw closer to Allah (glory be to Him) by obeying, benefitting from Him. Allah is the all Guide.
Question:How can I get rid of rage fits during stressful situations? How can I overcome such excessive thinking?
Answer:In the name of Allah, you have to say “La hwala wala Quatah Ila billah” (there is no power or resort but to Allah), with seeking Allah’s refuge from the devil even if you are praying, you can say such utterances in your heart. Allah is the all-knowing and guide.
