Question:Who is the scholar who says of the obligation of Arbaeen Ziarat at least once in a lifetime?
Answer:In the name of Allah, several scholars say so, the most notable of whom is Jaafar Ibn Muhammad Ibn Qawlawaih in the book of Kamil Al-Ziarat. Allah knows best.
Question:The love and passion of some believers for the progeny of Muhammad (PBUH&HF) leads them to recite Arbaeen pilgrimage text repeatedly for the sake of multiplying the reward. What is the religious opinion for that?
Answer:In the name of Allah, visiting imam Hussain (PBUH) on the 20th of Safar through the known holy Arbaeen pilgrimage text is highly recommended and there is no problem in repeating it on that day which is known as Arbaeen Day. Allah knows best.
Question:When reciting the pilgrimage text of righteous servant of Allah like Imam Abbas, at the end it is written (then pray two raka’ats of ziarat). Here, shall the intention be ziarat prayer or to Allah and then offer the reward of this prayer to this righteous servant of Allah?
Answer:In the name of Allah, my son, the ziarat prayer is to pray seeking closeness to Allah then offer its reward for whom you intended. Moreover, be advised, my son, our master Abbas (PBUH) was a servant to the Imam (PBUH) and was not an Imam. Allah knows best.
Question:Is the hadeeth correct that says “whoever comes to the grave of Imam Hussain walking will get a thousand reward for every step?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there is more than this in the reference books. Consult the book of Kamil Al-Ziarat (the entire pilgrimage texts book). Allah is the all Guide.
Question:We are servants in a Husseini procession (Mawkib). We want from your highness an instructive speech to be a beacon enlightening our way in serving the visitors of the master of martyrs (PBUH) and of other shrines. We ask Allah to grant all people the blessings of serving in the Husseini processions.
Answer:In the name of Allah, you work should be seeking closeness to Allah, the Exalted and you have to show respect to visitors of the holy shrines as much as possible. You also have to commit to prayers and perform them in their due times and if possible to perform them as gathering prayers. This would be far better. You have to endure whatever issued by the visitors because they have been travelling from distance which is tiring. It is obligatory that man do not mix with woman so that their deeds will not go in vain, as this is not permissible. We ask Allah to accept you deeds and grant you success for more service. He is the All-Hearer and the Supreme-Answerer.
Question:What is the best book gathering the visitation texts of the pure Imams (PBUH)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, consult the book entitled “Mafateeh Al-Jinan” and the book “Kamil Al-Ziarat”. Allah is the all Guide.
Question:What is the ruling or visiting the Imams (PBUH) from distance? Are there some narrations about the guiding Imams (PBUH) mentioning the visitation from distance and are there specific texts for visiting every Imam? Or, it is the same visitation text to be recited in the shrine of the infallible (PBUH)? Is it permissible to use the same text to visit him (PBUH) from distance as we are from faraway and we miss our Imam (PBUH)?
Answer:In the name of Allah, in most cases the Imam (PBUH) is visited with the visitation texts narrated in the authentic books whether from distance or not. Allah knows best.
Question:We are a volunteering team who works on removing the trash and garbage from the roads during religious visitations (ziarat). We suffer from a problem which is that the visitors throw the wastes in the middle of the roads. This makes us confused in our work and hinders us from showing the pilgrimages in their best pictures. What is your opinion about this? Is the visitation accepted from the visitor who deliberately throws wastes in the roads and intends destroying the public properties?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there is no doubt that Allah will judge people as per their sins if they do not repent. However, you know that travelling the visitor, especially those who come from faraway, is unaware of what you mentioned, so he will do it unintentionally. So, do not ever suspect that. We are proud of you and your brothers. Try to help spread such culture. May Allah reward you, as you are a young believer. And also let the visitors do whatever they like so that your deeds will not go in vain or your rewards will not be less by having suspicion (soo’ul zan) about others. Allah is the all Guide.
Question:What is the reward of visiting Imam Musa Ibn Ja’far Al-Kazim (PBUH) on the day of his martyrdom?
Answer:In the name of Allah, you may read a book of supplications like Mafateeh Al-Jinan. There is no doubt that it has great rewards and the least of which is getting the intercession of Imam Kazim (PBUH) on the day on which no money or sons avail except him who comes to Allah with a heart free from evil. This is on condition that the visitation is intended to get closer to Allah and also the visitor should not commit any sin whether minor or major. Allah is the all Guide and Knowing.
Question:I recite the Ashura visitation text every day, but I recite the curse once only because of the shortage of time. Does one time suffice or I have to recite it 100 times?
Answer:In the name of Allah, we recommend that one should recite it as instructed which is by repeating the two paragraphs 100 times otherwise the visitation would not be complete. Allah knows best.
