His Eminence's office commemorated the martyrdom of the World's Women Lady Zahraa (PBUH) by a walking procession led by His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life). The blessed procession set out to the yard of Imam Ali’s Holy shrine to offer condolences to the Commander of the Believers.

Seniors and the elite professors and students in Religious Hawza, as well as large crowds of believers from various Iraqi provinces participated, raising slogans of condolence to this painful anniversary.

The march began with a large walking procession from the office of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) through Al-Rasool Street, entering the sanctuary of the Commander of the Believers (PBUH), where the memorial majlis was held inside the holy yard in the presence of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life), and ending with visiting the holy tomb of Ali (PBUH).

The representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and the office director, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, said –to media- that His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) had participated with the believers to offer condolences to the Commander of the Believers and the awaited Imam (PBUH) on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Zahraa (PBUH)  according to the second narration of the martyrdom.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that these marches and commemorations of this occasion is the basis of the right doctrine of Ahlulbait (PBUH), and keeping its permanence and effect are part of the religious rituals.
