REPRESENTATIVE OF HIS EMINENCE AL-NAJAFY WELCOMES TEACHERS AND STUDENTS FROM AL-HILLI PREPARATORY SCHOOL IN BABYLON 19/4/2024 |
The
representative of His Eminence Ayatollah Grand Religious Authority Sheikh
Bashir Hussin Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his
central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy welcomed a
group of teachers and students from Al-Hilli Preparatory School (may his secret
be sanctified) in Al-Mahawil district, Babylon governorate. Sheikh Al-Najafy
stated that young people face significant challenges on various fronts aiming
to alter their religious, ideological, and moral identities and create other
individuals with identities that are disconnected from our society. He affirmed that
Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has bestowed upon humans numerous
blessings, from their bodies to the universe, which are dedicated for the
comfort and service of humanity and their dignity. Therefore, it is incumbent
upon every individual to be grateful to Allah (glorified and exalted be He),
noting that knowledge does not contradict monotheism but rather supports it and
is part of the truth of religion, and knowledge continues in this field. He warned the
youth that some attempt to spread doubts and deviant ideas through various
media, communication channels, and dubious gatherings, to undermine the beliefs
of the youth and create chaos in their intellectual lives. The youth has to
maintain communication with the scholars in the religious seminaries to repel
these conspiracies. He also
emphasized that human life is an irreplaceable opportunity that must be
invested in achieving the satisfaction of Allah (glorified and exalted be He).
Some try to deprive humans of this opportunity and turn them into marginal
figures by wasting time in frivolous matters and social media, distancing them
from knowledge and worship. Regarding
patriotism, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stressed that Iraq has a rich and wide-ranging
history, ancient civilizations, and a prominent position in social, scientific,
literary, and intellectual fields, all of which are parts of Iraq's identity
and its people. Every Iraqi should take pride in their identity, defend it, and
cherish it, noting that Iraqis have a rich record of shining points in human
life throughout the ages.
He added that part of Iraq's identity and that of Iraqis is the holy shrines, blessed visits, monotheism, Islam, the Imams of the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them), Najaf Al-Ashraf, Karbala, and visits to the holy shrines, as well as the noble Arab qualities encouraged and nurtured by authentic Muhammadan Islam. |
