Representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in Syria and Lebanon Sheik Ali Bahsoon met with the Swiss ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Francesco Paraci.

The two parties discussed the ongoing issues in the region and the world regarding Lebanon and the Arab region.

Sheik Bahsoon focused on the importance to enhance the peaceful coexistence in order to confront terrorism which has nothing to do with Islam at all.

Sheik Bahsoon stressed that Western countries should be aware that terrorism adopts Islam just for distorting this religion in a planned and intended manner, focusing on understanding the position of the wise religious authorities in terms of stabilizing the region and the whole world.

The ambassador thanked sheik Bahsoon, appraising all the efforts made by the wise religious authorities and Swiss-Lebanese relations.
