* INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SHOULD BE STRICT WITH ANY COUNTRY SUPPORTING EXTREMISM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF IRAQ.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, director of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) office, met with the East German Church delegating and a number of journalists in the bless office of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in Najaf Al-Ashraf.

 Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that the sacrifices that we [Muslims] did to protect Christians are not for any political, economic or personal goals, justifying that we sacrificed because all of us belong to Iraq.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stressed that any plans aiming to eliminate any minority is rejected and we are keen to sacrifice our lives for this, stating that we do not let any internal or external attempts to evict any Iraqi ethnicity.

Sheikh Al-Najafy called for an educational, social project to establish peace and reject all the conflicts in order to protect our country Iraq, a matter which has been the focus of the religious authorities in Holy Najaf to peacefully coexist.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that the victory against Daesh is what Iraqi people truly deserve, demanding the international community to be strict against all the countries supporting extremism inside or outside of Iraq.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that although there have been so many peaceful coexistence teams in Iraq and through the religious establishments, Iraqi judiciary system should take the part in the process through holding those who shed Iraqi innocent blood accountable.

In conclusion, sheikh Al-Najafy mentioned that extremism greatly created by the conflict of the great powers and political friction in the region for which Syrian and Iraqi people were the victims, stressing that such mistaken policies should be stopped.
