AFTER THIRTY YEARS INTERRUPTION, FIRST INDIAN AIRCRAFT LANDS IN NAJAF

Director of the Office of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) participates in the reception of the first aircraft of the Indian Airlines, and stresses the importance of expanding relations.

 As part of the project to support the air transport and enhance the Iraqi-Indian relations and after a 30-year interruption of the Iraqi-Indian aviation.

The Director of the Office of the Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed the invitation of the Indian Embassy to receive the first Indian plane and the Najaf airport with an official delegation including representatives of Iraq and India.

Sheikh Ali Najafy confirmed to the media that this line reduces the difficulties of travel, especially economic, for the Indian believers wishing to travel to the holy city of Najaf and other holy shrines in Iraq, and from the Iraqi side is a facility to treat Iraqi patients seeking treatment in India, where there are many difficulties and abundant claims by Iraqi patients for the existence of such an important line.

It is worth mentioning that His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy in his trip to the Republic of India in 2016 and meeting with a number of officials in India stressed the importance of expansion of Iraqi-Indian relations and the opening of a direct flight between the two countries, in the State of India in order to link to Najaf Ashraf.

For his part, the Indian authorities and on behalf of the Director of the Indian aviation authorities expressed his thanks and gratitude for the moral support and efforts exerted by His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy on the success of such projects blessed, noting that the Indian plane of the Indian Air (Air India) has provided a number of visitors to the holy shrines.
