Question:What is the ruling on fasting if one eats before the fast and: 1.Knows that something remains between the teeth. 2.Suspects that something might remain between the teeth—even after cleaning— with the possibility of swallowing it unintentionally?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if a person deliberately swallows anything during the day, their fast is invalid, and they must make it up and offer expiation.
