His Eminence the religious authority (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation of believers from the city of Basra who came to perform the visitation rituals of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and offer condolences to the Master of Time, the Imam of our time (may Allah hasten his reappearance) on the anniversary of the martyrdom of his grandfather, Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him).
His Eminence the religious authority (may Allah prolong his life) offered paternal recommendations and guidance in his speech, emphasizing the obligation to adhere to the sacred Sharia, to stay away from prohibitions and sins in daily life and social relations, and to adhere to the daily religious practices as commanded by the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) because they are the proof of Allah (the Exalted) upon all humanity.
He added that every action must be accompanied by seeking nearness to Allah (the Exalted) to be deserving of acceptance, and every action must be based on piety, as it is the criterion for acceptance and rejection.
His Eminence the religious authority (may Allah prolong his life) clarified that one of the first steps of piety is self-accountability for every small or large action and word, striving to rectify errors towards others and sincere repentance to Allah (the Exalted) in order to seek forgiveness for sins and transgressions.
In his address to the believers, His Eminence the religious authority (may Allah prolong his life) emphasized the obligation of kindness and righteousness towards their parents in their lives and after their death, especially towards their mothers, as they have been eager to raise them with loyalty to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and this is a great deed.
