The representative of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf al-Ashraf, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, met in Wasit province with the representative of the religious authority, the son of the late scholar Sayyid Habib al-Khatib (may his secret be sanctified).

Al-Najafy met during his visit to Wasit and a number of districts and regions with tribal leaders, dignitaries, and believers, where he conveyed the greetings and prayers of His Eminence the Najaf Marja'iya (may his shade endure), wishing for success, guidance, and acceptance of deeds.

Al-Najafy emphasized the importance of believers seizing the great divine opportunity bestowed upon them by Allah Almighty during the blessed month of Ramadan, and the spiritual and worshipful projects within it that could bring about a positive change in a person's character, behavior, and relationship with Allah Almighty on one hand, and their relationship with various elements of society on the other.

He stressed the necessity of investing this noble month in bringing joy and happiness to the heart of the Imam of Time through adhering to religious rituals such as recitation of the Holy Quran, attending congregational supplication sessions, preaching and guidance gatherings, and supplicating for the hastening of relief, affirming that we live under the blessed existence of the Awaited Imam (may Allah hasten his reappearance), feeling his care, mercy, and protection.
