His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation from Department Quran at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein in Karbala. During the meeting, His Eminence commended the department's tireless efforts in compiling the monumental Qur’anic encyclopedia that documents the Ahlulbayt’s interpretation and understanding of the Holy Qur’an.

Describing the encyclopedia as a revival of a long-neglected heritage, Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi praised the work as an invaluable academic beacon for scholars and researchers. He emphasized its importance in preserving and presenting the Qur’anic heritage of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) to the broader Islamic world.

The project, known as the Revival Encyclopedia, consists of sixty volumes and took fourteen years to complete under the guidance of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala’i. The encyclopedia covers diverse fields of Qur’anic sciences and interpretation, all based on the teachings and narrations of the Ahlulbayt. It is considered a unique reference for scholars in both universities and Islamic seminaries, offering a comprehensive and ready-to-analyze scientific resource.
