The representative of the office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) in Diwaniyah Governorate took part in the annual march calling for the reconstruction of the shrines of Al-Baqi' (peace be upon them).

“The representative office participated in the mass demonstration held in the city of Diwaniyah, where thousands of followers of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and servants of Hussaini processions gathered in a central protest demanding the rebuilding of the Imams' graves in Al-Baqi'.” Sheikh Jasim Al-Kar'awi stated.

He added that all participants, who had come from various areas of the province and neighboring cities, raised banners rejecting the erasure of the sacred landmarks of the Infallible Imams in Al-Baqi’ Al-Gharqad. They called on the Islamic and international communities to pressure Saudi authorities to expedite the reconstruction of these holy shrines.

Al-Kar’awi noted that the demonstrators expressed their deep-rooted spiritual connection to the noble progeny of the Prophet, raising slogans condemning the destruction of the sacred graves and affirming that the demand to rebuild them is a legitimate right of millions of Muslims around the world.
