The delegate of the office of His Eminence Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) in Basra Governorate distributed a package of food aid to a number of needy families in Al-Faw city, southern Iraq.

This falls within the framework of the social efforts undertaken by the delegate office to check on the conditions of these families and understand their basic needs.

Sheikh Ali Al-Maliki stated that supporting needy families is a necessity for achieving social and economic stability by providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and medicine.

This contributes to alleviating living burdens, enhances the dignity of families, and achieves social justice, in addition to its role in building a cohesive society that spreads hope and joy in the hearts of the needy.

Al-Maliki pointed out that the delegate office has organized a number of humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting needy families by distributing food baskets containing essential food supplies that help secure their daily sustenance.

Sheikh Al-Maliki explained that this initiative comes within the framework of promoting a spirit of social responsibility and entrenching the values of solidarity and compassion. It has been greatly appreciated by the benefiting families for its noble humanitarian dimension, which reflects a keenness to interact with local community issues.
