The representative of the office of His Eminence Ayatollah al-Najafi (may Allah prolonged his life) in Diyala Governorate distributed food baskets to a number of needy and deserving families in the Al-Khalis district, as part of humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable segments.

Sheikh Hashim Salman stated that serving the poor and needy is among the greatest forms of reviving the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), who taught the nation to stand by humanity and extend a helping hand to those in need. He explained that these food baskets represent a message of loyalty and reward offered to the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him), asking God Almighty to accept them from all contributors and to perpetuate the spirit of mutual support among the members of society.

He explained that these initiatives seek to establish a culture of giving and generosity and to draw inspiration from the Husayni values in daily life, affirming that serving people is an act of worship and that bringing joy to the hearts of deserving families is among the best deeds in the sight of God Almighty. He called upon philanthropists and benefactors to continue supporting these blessed projects, given their significant impact in fostering the spirit of brotherhood and compassion.

He pointed out that the initiative included a number of deserving families with the aim of alleviating their living burdens and embodying the values of solidarity and compassion exemplified by the uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), while emphasizing the importance of continuing these blessed humanitarian initiatives on various occasions.
