NINEVEH — The representative of Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi’s office in Nineveh Governorate continued organizing religious lectures commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (pbuh).

During his lecture, Sheikh Hassan Al-Ta'i affirmed that commemorating Imam Hussein (pbuh) means reviving the principles of truth, justice, and reform for which he stood. He highlighted that Husseini gatherings serve as educational platforms for building conscious believers and fostering a sense of religious and social responsibility.

Sheikh Al-Ta'i noted that Imam Hussein (pbuh) sacrificed his life to safeguard authentic Muhammadan Islam and the legacy of the Prophet (pbuh). He stressed that preserving this path requires spreading religious awareness and engaging youth with the biographies of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbut), concluding with heartfelt condolences to the Imam of the Age (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the Grand Marja's, and the Islamic nation.
