Holy Najaf

His Eminence the Grand Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), received, separately, delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The delegations had come to Iraq to be blessed with visits to the holy shrines and to receive the guidance and counsel of the religious authority in Holy Najaf.

During the meetings, His Eminence offered a number of paternal pieces of advice and guidance of significance to the esteemed visitors. He highlighted the importance and religious status of Iraq, which is blessed by the presence of the holy shrines of the Prophets, the Infallible Imams, and the righteous saints, as well as its profound spiritual and scholarly significance in the hearts and minds of Muslims.

His Eminence affirmed that the Religious Seminary (Hawza) in Holy Najaf opens its doors to all believers, enabling them to seek guidance from its teachings, draw enlightenment from its light and guidance, and benefit from its scholarly and religious contributions.

His Eminence also answered a number of questions raised by those present, clarifying the relevant rulings and providing the necessary guidance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Eminence supplicated Almighty Allah for those present and for the Muslim Ummah, asking the Almighty to bestow goodness and righteousness upon them, protect them, and grant security, safety, and stability to their countries and to all believers.
