The representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy participated in the funeral of the late scholar, one of the scholars of the Hawza, sayed Habib Al-Khatib, the representative of the His Eminence in the city of Nu'maniyah in Wasit Province.

Sheikh Al-Najafy conveyed the condolences of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) to the family of the deceased, his Musawiyya clan, the people of Wasit province, and the religious Hawza.

His Eminence said in an interview: “His Eminence Al-Khatib - may Allah be pleased with him - assumed responsibility for spreading the virtues and tradition of Ahlulbait (PBUT) and faced tyrants and dictators during the Baathist rule over Iraq.”
