His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Abdullatif bin Jassim Al-Sukran, Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy and Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain appointed in Al-Najaf and his accompanying delegation.

His Eminence indicated that governments would raise the status of people and the country, and we hope that the authorities will be a caretaker of their people in a way that serves the people and the country.

His Eminence welcomed everything that would advance Iraqi-Bahraini relations at all levels, calling for the importance of advancing the strengthening of ties between the two brotherly Arab Muslim peoples, Iraqi and Bahraini Muslims, especially concerning tourism in the Republic of Iraq.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) considered the high diplomatic representation in Al-Najaf governorate of the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain a great step in extending the lines of Arab and Islamic convergence between the Republic of Iraq in general and Najaf Al-Ashraf in particular and the dear Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Bahraini ambassador affirmed Bahrain's effort to consolidate Iraqi-Bahraini relations, thanking His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) for his blessed time, and stressing the importance of Al-Najaf to the Kingdom.
