Al-Najafy: His Eminence the Religious Authority always stresses, in his welcoming of the Indian delegations, the strengthening of bilateral relations with Iraq at all levels.

The representative of His Eminence the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy participated in the celebration of the Indian Embassy in Iraq - the capital, Baghdad, within the activities of the Senty Fifth of the National Forum of the Day of Diaspora and Dependance of India.

Sheikh Al-Najafy in his speech - broadcast on this occasion – offered congratulations and blessings to the Indian people and government on this occasion, wishing them security, stability, and prosperity, and congratulating the officials as represented by the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Baghdad.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that India is the birthplace of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and includes a large segment of the followers of Ahlulbait (PBUT). He visited it several years ago and observed the peaceful coexistence between the various components of the people and their concern for their country, its development, and advancement, congratulating India’s independence from any external guardianship, praying for them to have constant safety and progress.

Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy added that His Eminence the Religious Authority (may Allah prolong his life) always emphasizes, in his official and semi-official welcoming the delegations from India, the relations of bilateral relations with the State of Iraq at all levels, to achieve the benefit of the two countries.
