On the occasion of the first anniversary of the departure of His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah, the great religious authority, Sayed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim (may his soul rest in peace), His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah, the great religious authority, Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) attended, with a delegation of scholars, the memorial council held on his pure soul in the grand hall of the Alawi complex in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) recalled that great role that the late deceased presented to the Islamic nation and Iraq, and what he had done in spreading the science and thought of Ahlulbait (peace be upon them) and in reviving the Husseini rites.
