During the meeting, His Eminence listened to the visitors' messages and offered them fatherly guidance and advice.
His Eminence Grand Ayatllah the Religious Authrotiy Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy stressed the necessity for the believer to connect their actions to closeness to Allah (Almighty) and piety, and pointed out that the basis for the acceptance of deeds is piety, as the Holy Quran teaches.
His Eminence Grand Ayatllah the Religious Authrotiy Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy also explained that the first step towards piety is to hold oneself accountable for every word and deed, big or small, confirming that the Imams of the Ahlulbayt (PBUT) have emphasized this accountability through narrations and that self-accountability helps the believer to recognize their shortcomings towards Allah (Almighty) and their mistakes towards others in society, leading to repentance and improvement.
During his meeting with the visitors of the holy shrines, His Eminence Grand Ayatllah the Religious Authrotiy Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy emphasized that a sign of acceptance of the visit to the holy shrines of the Ahlulbayt (PBUT) is to change and improve one's behavior and ethics towards others after the visit, pointing out the necessity of utilizing these visits to start a new phase towards building and reform, where each visitor becomes a center for guidance and reform for those around them in society. This way, they become true advocates of Islam through their actions and ethics.
