Central Office – The office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah the Religious
Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) continues to
receive visiting delegations arriving from various parts of the Islamic
Republic of Iran to participate in commemorating the Arba'een pilgrimage of
Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and to benefit from the religious guidance and
educational directives offered by the Najaf Ashraf Marja'iyya to the esteemed
pilgrims. The office,
through its spokespersons, presented a number of guidelines and recommendations
of importance to the pilgrims, outlining the most prominent religious
instructions and directives emphasized by His Eminence Grand Ayatollah the
Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life),
foremost among them the necessity of investing this blessed opportunity to
strengthen spiritual connection with Allah Almighty and elevate faith
consciousness, which aids the pilgrim in performing their pilgrimage with
awareness and sincerity, reaping its blessings, and seeking the intercession of
the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him(. For his part, His
Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Ridha al-Tarfi reviewed a number of concepts
emphasized in the recommendations of His Eminence the Najafi Marja' (may his
shadow endure), foremost among them the concept of self-accountability and
self-monitoring as fundamental principles that every believer and pilgrim
should adhere to. He called upon the pilgrim to make their visit to Imam
Hussain (peace be upon him) a sincere starting point for repentance and reform,
and to return to their community as a giving individual, carrying the message
of righteousness and loyalty to the covenant with Imam Hussain (peace be upon
him) and the pure Imams (peace be upon them). The participating
delegations in this pilgrimage were diverse, arriving from various regions of
the Islamic Republic of Iran, comprising multiple age and social groups, keen
on being enlightened by the guidance of the Najaf Ashraf Marja'iyya and
departing from Iraq laden with the radiance of understanding and awareness of
the importance of visiting the holy lands and the spiritual and educational
impacts it leaves on the pilgrim's life.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the esteemed pilgrims expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality, commending the religious and educational guidance and directives provided to them, and affirming the importance of these meetings in enhancing faith awareness and benefiting from the guidance of the Najaf Ashraf Marja'iyya during their journey on the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). |
