BABYLON — Mr. Hussein Al-Khuzai, head of the Assembly of Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi’s Followers in Babylon, announced that ongoing preparations are underway at the Shrine of Al-Alawiya Sharifa bint Al-Hassan (peace be upon her) to prepare and distribute over 11,000 meals to pilgrims participating in the annual Fatimiya  March to the Holy City of Najaf. This initiative marks the fifth consecutive year of sustained community service during the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUH).

Al-Khuzai explained that local service bodies and Husayni processions are actively coordinating hospitality and logistical arrangements. Beyond meal preparation, these efforts include securing overnight accommodations for pilgrims arriving from southern Iraqi provinces.

Service committees are managing pilgrim flow to ensure seamless entry to the holy shrine for visitation and dining before participants continue their trek through Holy Karbala, ultimately reaching Holy Najaf to offer condolences at the Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).
