The office of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in Lebanon and Syria continued the project of drilling wells in the towns and villages in Syria in order to provide water for irrigation and restoring life to thousands of Syrian resident families.

The representative of the His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) in Syria and Lebanon, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Bahsoun, confirmed that the project is based on the directives of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life), and there is follow-up by the office of His Eminence in Syria. So, we sent the director of the office of His Eminence in Lebanon, Sayed Naji Atwi, to visit eastern Homs in Syria, to observe and follow up on the implementation and the progress of the stages of work. This charitable and humanitarian project is to restore life to the areas that have suffered from problems for so long.

Sayed Naji Atawi stated that he has visited several Syrian towns and villages in Homs in order to observe the project of well drillings and secure the requirements to have the project successful, indicating that the first well is drilled and finished in Junainat, and  a reservoir with a capacity of 100 meters has been established.
