*  Sheikh Ali Najafy: These Husseini rituals and the Husseini pulpit were and still are a source of strength for the Shiite community.

The representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Najafy participated in the commemoration of the Husseini mourning in the procession of Gharib Tus in Basra Governorate, as part of the Arbaeen Walk towards Imam Hussein (PBUH).

Sheikh Najafy conveyed to the mourners the peace and prayers of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and his advice and guidance for them to commemorate religious rituals in general, and Husseini rituals in particular, stressing in his speech that this pilgrimage is an important opportunity to reform the individual and society and leave all negatives and mistakes and move towards correct daily behavior.

Al-Najafy confirmed in his conversation with many believers that these Husseini rituals and the Husseini pulpit have been a source of strength for the Shiite community. It has produced heroes in all fields, advocates of truth, and men who bear the responsibility towards religion and society. The best living example of this is the great heroism shown by the Popular Mobilization Forces and Mujahideen in the face of the terrorist forces ISIS and achieving a great victory over them by liberating Iraqi cities.
