His Eminence Ayatollah Shiej Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed Kuwait’s ambassador to Iraq Sheikh Salem Ghasab Al-Zaman before the end of his diplomatic mission in Iraq, stating the commonalities between the two peoples and calling for strengthening the love ties between them and welcoming - on the diplomatic level - everything that would advance the relations between the two neighboring countries.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) indicated that peaceful coexistence between the various components of the Kuwaiti sectarian people distinguishes this people and is evidence of the wisdom of the leadership in it and its people.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) added that the Greatest Messenger (may Allah bless him and his family) and the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) are a meeting point between all Islamic sects. They are a man of justice, humanity, and true leadership in Islam and the nation throughout history.
