His Eminence the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation from the Lebanese Islamic Council, represented by the Vice President of the Council and the accompanying delegation.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) explained in his meeting with the delegation that the youth of Lebanon had shown the true face of the Ahlulbait (peace be upon them) to the world and the principles of Islam and the dissemination of the thought of the people of the Prophet’s House (may Allah’s prayers be upon him and his family), stressing that the Council should continue to work to show the bright face of Shiism in Lebanon and the world.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) also mentioned the merit and greatness of the holy city of Najaf by the presence of the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful and the seminary in which many references and thinkers came out. To spread the thought of the pure imams (may Allah bless them all).

For his part, the delegation expressed his happiness to be honored to visit the holy shrines and meet with his eminence and enlightenment with his guidance, reviewing the conditions of the followers of Ahlulbait in Lebanon and the Islamic world, appreciating what His Eminence gave from his blessed time.
