of His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) held under the auspices of his blessed office, His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed his representatives and delegates from the various provinces of Iraq to listen to his wise commandments and directives.

His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) confirmed in his speech that God Almighty entrusted the prophets and imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) with the process of preaching and guiding people, and you bear this responsibility towards society and the nation; your mission is great.

His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) added that the Prophet (may Allah’s prayers be upon him and his family) guided people to the foundations of the authentic Islamic religion by action over sixty years, and by speech and religious transmission over more than twenty years, despite all the conspiracies of the hypocrites, and this indicates that action takes precedence over words, and you must be advocates with your deeds in that your actions before your words and your words with the community, pointing out His Eminence that people see with a critical eye the actions of the clergy before listening to their words.

His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) stated that you are the carriers of the religion and you have the honor of calling for the truth, anyone who is guided by the hands of one of you with his work and saying to him is credit in all actions, stressing that your guiding people to the truth is only a preparation for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honorable relief) and preparation for his army and his mass base.

In talking about the status of Iraq, His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) stated that Iraq is a country of good things as it included the shrines of six imams from Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and Iraq is the center of the world that Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) will lead the world towards salvation from oppression and darkness, and all of you must serve Iraq with deed and word and give priority to action over the word.

His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) sent a message through his representative and delegates to the people of Iraq, saying: “Convey my message to my children that you have to fear Allah Almighty, because it is the basis for accepting deeds with God (swt) conditioned by piety, and its first step is self-accountability, for every deed and word.” His Eminence explained that the accounts of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) insist on the believers to hold themselves accountable periodically to avoid falling into the forbidden acts”
