The representative of His Eminence Ayatollah Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in Najaf Al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy, welcomed a delegation of Muslim scholars from Britain.
His Eminence Sheikh Al-Najafy delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation, affirming that the Islamic community is facing a major battle against every relationship that connects human beings with Allah (Almighty) in general and against Islam in particular, as well as all forms of religiousness and manifestations of faith. He explained that there are forces trying to distort the relationship between human beings and Allah (Almighty) to weaken the individual and consequently weaken the society as a whole, using slogans and ideas to attract the minds of certain segments of society.
His Eminence confirmed that some try to exploit the idea of women's freedom in society to achieve their agendas by undermining the relationship between human beings and values and principles. In reality, Islam has greatly elevated the status of women, better than any other direction.
Furthermore, His Eminence pointed out that it is the duty of those responsible for the process of religious preaching and guidance to diagnose the problems, refute doubts, and uncover conspiracies to enhance the relationship between human beings and Allah (Almighty). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) established many traditions and laws that were passed down from the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in life. If individuals adhere to all the traditions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and his teachings, happiness, and peace will be achieved.
