The representative of His Eminence Ayatollah the Religious Authority Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his central office in the holy city of Najaf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy stated that the Arbaeen pilgrimage has been the most prominent human event and the largest cultural and religious gathering among all the peoples of the world.

During his conversation with the faithful participants in the Arbaeen pilgrimage in the province of Babil, he mentioned that this pilgrimage is a renewed victory for authentic Muhammadi Islam and a Hussaini cry that terrifies enemies everywhere.

He further emphasized that the massive participation of the followers of the Prophet and the holy household (peace be upon them) this year is a thorn in the eyes of their enemies, and this pilgrimage will, God willing, remain a million-fold until the holy reappearance. It will remain a meeting place for souls and bodies, and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) will continue to be the homeland of all his lovers, followers, and Shi'ites.

During his participation in the blessed Arbaeen march and his meetings with visitors, the leaders of Hussaini processions, preachers, tribal leaders, and dignitaries, His Eminence Sheikh Al-Najafy added that this pilgrimage is a major school for learning religious knowledge, jurisprudence, history, and strengthening the relationship between the servant and God (Glory be to Him), on one hand, and strengthening the relationship among believers from various affiliations, while removing animosities and grudges on the other.

Al-Najafy stated that the visit to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is a great opportunity to revive religious rituals, and it should be a starting point for individuals to correct their mistakes and sins committed in their daily lives, holding fast to the great Prophet and his pure family (peace be upon them) and following their path to ensure correctness and truth. In this regard, he stressed the importance of self-accountability and monitoring our actions so that our words and deeds are in accordance with the satisfaction of God (Glorified is His name).
