His Eminence, the Grand Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussain Al-Najafi (May Allah prolong his life), received His Excellency the Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Dheshan Ahmed.

During the meeting, His Eminence the Najaf Marja' (May Allah prolong his life) addressed the challenges facing Pakistani visitors coming to the holy shrines, especially for the visitation of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), emphasizing the importance of preparing secure, suitable, and legal conditions between the two countries, the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for the esteemed visitors.

For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his commitment to exert efforts and take practical steps to secure more facilities for visitors to the holy shrines from Pakistan. He pointed out that the presence of His Eminence the Najaf Marja' (May Allah prolong his life) is a great blessing for the entire Islamic nation.
