The office of His Eminence Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life) received a number of visiting delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where the delegations, each separately, met with a number of representatives of His Eminence .

The speakers conveyed to the honorable delegations the greetings of Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life)and his supplication for their success and acceptance of their pilgrimage, and they also offered a number of directives and recommendations concerning visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq, emphasizing the importance of seizing this spiritual journey in a way that strengthens connection to Allah Almighty, adherence to the values of the true religion, and benefiting from the spiritual atmospheres enjoyed by the holy shrines.

For his part, the representative of His Eminence, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi (may his support endure), conveyed to the visiting delegations a number of advice and directives, in which he explained the great religious status that Iraq enjoys, as it hosts the shrines of six of the pure Imams (peace be upon them), as well as the shrines of prophets, saints, and righteous people, emphasizing that this divine blessing requires the honorable visitor to make his pilgrimage a station for positive change and self-reform, and to elevate his behavior and system of life according to the teachings of Islam and the principles of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi affirmed that Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf will remain, as the faithful have known it, a beacon of knowledge and faith, a host for all who come to it seeking religious knowledge, and keen to provide everything that helps believers fulfill their religious duties, consolidate their creeds, and deepen their connection to the school of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Meanwhile, His Eminence Sayyid Taher Al-Jaza'iri, during his meetings with the delegations, reviewed the importance of gaining deep understanding in religion and elevating the level of precise religious commitment, as this contains the goodness of this world and the Hereafter. He also addressed a number of faith-based and ethical concepts that contribute to elevating human behavior and enhancing moral and spiritual discipline in the life of the believer.

His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Ridha Al-Tarfai also reviewed the most prominent general directives consistently emphasized by Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life), foremost among them clarifying the conditions of faith, explaining that among the most important pillars of faith are self-accountability, fulfilling the covenant with Allah Almighty, and persisting in righteous deeds, as these are foundations for spiritual advancement and moral integration. He also explained in his meetings a number of etiquettes and guidelines that the honorable visitor should possess in order to gain the honor of having his pilgrimage accepted, and to return from it with a blessed spiritual and behavioral impact.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the visiting delegations expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for the paternal advice and valuable guidance they received, asking Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, to protect Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi (may Allah prolong his life), to prolong his blessed shadow, and to grant him success in continuing to serve Islam and Muslims.
