Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi's Representative Leads Educational Programs in Kut 24/8/2026 ![]() |
The
representative of the office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafi (may
Allah prolong his life) continued his efforts in holding religious seminars and
lectures on jurisprudence, ethics, and beliefs during prayers in the city of
Kut. Sheikh Muhammad
Al-Badri stated that jurisprudential lectures are not merely a presentation of
Islamic legal information, but rather a religious responsibility aimed at
raising the level of awareness among believers and familiarizing them with the
rulings they require in their acts of worship and transactions. He emphasized
that gaining a deeper understanding of religion helps individuals perform their
duties correctly and protects them from making mistakes. He added that the
continuous holding of religious lectures inside mosques and Hussainiyas
represents an important step in consolidating Islamic culture and strengthening
believers' connection to religious scholarship. He pointed to the importance of
expanding their scope to cover various issues faced by duty-bound individuals
(al-mukallaf) in their daily lives, thereby helping build a community that is
more aware and committed to religious values and rulings.
He explained that conducting religious lectures serves as an essential means to spread legal awareness and enhance religious culture among community members, stressing the necessity of sustaining these programs due to their impact on raising a generation aware of its religious obligations and capable of applying them in everyday life. |
