* The Iraqi people defied terrorism and performed the pilgrimage ceremonies, and today they are defying the Corona pandemic under the auspices and care of Imams Hussein and his grandson Al-Mahdi (PBUT).

The representative of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) and director of his office His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy participated in the walk of the Arbaeen pilgrimage with the faithful from the capital Baghdad - the road linking Baghdad to the city of Hilla - where he met with the convoys of pilgrims and the Husseini processions in the city of Mahmudiyah, passing to them His Eminence’s (may Allah prolong his life) greetings and prayers for having success and steadfastness.

Sheikh Al-Najafy, in his conversation with the pilgrims, stressed that the difficult circumstances that have passed on the world in general and the Iraqi people in particular due to the spread of the Corona pandemic have made Iraqi society stronger, coherent and compassionate, stressing that today they prove that they are in the footsteps of the Imams Ahlulbait (PBUT) and adhere to their orders and true approach.

Al-Najafy indicated that the texts mentioned by the immaculate imams (PBUT) confirm the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in all circumstances, especially in light of fear and prevention, indicating that the Iraqi defied terrorism and before it the terror of the fascist Baath regime in Iraq, and they performed the pilgrimage ceremony today, challenging the Coronavirus pandemic under the auspices and care of Imams Hussein and his grandson Al-Mahdi (PBUT).

In an interview with the Husseini processions, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy addressed them saying: “you are truly the kings and the owners of the crowns, and your service has increased your honor in this world and the hereafter. Do wait for your honor on the Day of Resurrection, when Allah (the Exalted) will please and grant you the best reward”, stressing that all believers need to know and learn about the life of Ahlulbait (PBUT) to follow and be guided by their life so that the deeds are in conformity with the methodology and tradition of Ahlulbait(PBUT), away from impurities and mistakes.

His Eminence focused on the importance of adhering to health prevention regulations and the instructions of the Ministry of Health, in compliance with the directives of the religious authority in holy Najaf to preserve the people of this honorable country.
