His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Baghdad, Birinder Singh Yadu, where his Eminence stressed the need to strengthen relations between the two countries, especially in the economic and commercial fields, to serve the two peoples.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) also emphasized the necessity of facilitating pilgrims procedures between the two countries.

In his turn, the ambassador promised to strive to remove all obstacles as well as to serve the Indian community in Iraq, extending his thanks to His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) for his time to get acquainted with the directions and advice of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life).
