With the increase in the number of mourners towards the shrine of Imam Hussein and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), the representative of His Eminence the religious authority (may Allah prolong his life) and the director of his office, His Eminence Sheikh Ali al-Najafy, participated in welcoming the mourners and the mourning processions in the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and raising the slogan of “Labbek Ya Hussain”, in commemoration of the fortieth anniversary of the master of martyrs (peace be upon him).

His Eminence joined the mourners at the shrine of Imam Hussein after a tour that lasted for several days, starting from the far south of Iraq and passing through the southern and central governorate to holy Karbala.

It is worth noting that His Eminence, under his direct supervision, ordered the Al-Anwar Najafiya Foundation to support many Husseini processions, while conveying the directives of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) about the importance of commemorating this ritual.
