His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) welcomed a delegation of pilgrims to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage from the State of Lebanon to be inspired by the fatherly instructions and advice of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life).

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) emphasized that the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is called the Imam of the pious and it is our duty as believers, followers, and lovers of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) to be pious; to obtain his care and intercession in this world and the hereafter.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) added that the first step in raising the ranks of piety is to hold oneself accountable for every action and saying, minor and major, and the accountability is daily before going to sleep. Every wrong action and saying shall be corrected and provide repentance and excuse for those who have sinned against.

His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) stated that the sign of acceptance of visiting the shrines of the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is a positive change in the behavior and morals of the visitor in his daily life. This visitor will be a source to correct, reform, and change society for the better and the best.
